Recently we assisted a client in preparing his business for sale. His plan was to sell his business before his 60th birthday in three years’ time. By setting up a plan in good time we assisted him to maximise the sale price. We have a 3-year projection, which closely monitors margins & profitability. We are also monitoring many of the balance sheet items to ensure that it looks its best at sale time. Closer to D-day we will assist with the preparation of a business memorandum to present the business to prospective buyers.
